Laura KopIlOvic
Laura is a highly regarded choreographer and technical coach, specialising in technical foundation training and finessing stage artistry. Laura has worked extensively in the performing arts industry for over thirteen years, both in commercial dance in Australia and internationally on contracts with Princess Cruise Lines.
After training across all dance styles and performing professionally, Laura returned to Australia in 2016 to pursue teaching and choreography. She founded FORM DANCE STUDIOS in 2018 and has successfully coached and mentored many of her students to pursue dance professionally.
Versatility has played a large role in Laura's success. She believes it is a crucial part of developing the next generation of performers. Laura's mission at HUBPAC is to pass on her wealth of knowledge and experience to all of her students to reach their full potential, both on and off the stage.
Sari Ferreira
Sari is a sought after choreographer, movement director and creative consultant with over fifteen years of professional dance experience. She has worked across all disciplines of the performing arts industry including contemporary, commercial, theatre, film & television, both Australia and internationally.
In 2017, Sari returned from the USA to Sydney to create a one-of-a-kind dance training experience: THE CHANNEL. TC is more than an extension program; it is an intricately designed program to channel artists into the performing arts world. Over the last five years, TC extension program has proven to be a huge success, launching not only students but guest teachers and choreographers into the spotlight.
Sari is adamant on providing HUBPAC students with only the highest quality coaches, offering the most up-to-date information and insight on how to become a professional creative.
OUR STORY
Laura and Sari have known and trained alongside one another since they were ten years old, and then again during full time training at Brent Street Studios, 2008. After forging their own paths within the dance industry, both professionally and within their own studios, FORM DANCE STUDIOS & THE CHANNEL ELITE TRAINING, Laura and Sari have come together in 2021 to create THE HUB PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE.
The decision to merge both studios has been a long time coming for Laura and Sari. Each of them specialises in different areas that are essential to building multifaceted performers. Their partnership is the perfect synergy, with Laura specialising in training technical excellence and athleticism in dancers and Sari nurturing and developing their creative vocabulary and professional mindset to unlock their inner artist.
HUBPAC is the one stop location that will inspire, train and guide the next generation of ‘triple threat’ performers. Laura and Sari’s dual experience is what separates HUBPAC from other performing arts institutions. Our HUBPAC directors have both pursued the performing arts professionally, allowing them to teach from lived experience. This value is aligned with not only their choice in faculty members, but the structuring and focus of each term’s training. Our objectives and modules ensure our dancers are receiving the most relevant and premium quality training possible.
