Our Mid Year Showcase is a unique, in-studio performance experience designed to give parents, families and friends a sneak peek into what our students have been working on throughout Term 1 and 2. This showcase highlights a mix of:
Foundational Class Work
RAD Ballet Syllabus Exercises
Mini Routines and Performance Pieces
It’s an important part of our training process and a beautiful opportunity for students to begin developing their performance skills in a supportive, community environment.
This is also the perfect opportunity for new students to come along and see what HUBPAC is all about!

Our Mid Year Showcase is the same performance, repeated at two show times, to allow all family and friends an opportunity to come and watch either show!
There are THREE shows on this day (one MINI/CUB, one JNR/TEEN, and one TEEN/SNR show). Each show has TWO performances (same show repeated twice) as detailed below.SHOW TIMES:
SHOW 1 - MINI/CUB
9:00am - 9:30am - Performance 1
9:30am - 11:00am - (1.5 hr break)
11:00am - 11:30am - Performance 2
SHOW 2 - JNR/TEEN
1:00pm - 1:30pm - Performance 1
1:30pm - 3:00pm - (1.5 hr break)
3:00pm - 3:30pm - Performance 2
SHOW 3 - TEEN/SENIOR

Please Note: Performers must be dropped off at the studio 30 minutes prior to their first performance starting. Dancers are to remain in the studio for both of their performances (each Show performs twice!) -

1. Does my dancer perform in both the 9:00am and 11:00am / 1:00pm and 3:00pm / 5:00pm and 7:30pm shows?
Yes. We are showcasing the same show twice, to allow all parents, friends and families the opportunity to come along to watch either show.
2. Does my dancer stay for the entire time even if we are only watching one show?
Yes. Students are required for both performances so both audiences can see the full experience of their dancer in their respective class. Our staff will be on site to supervise children for the duration of the event.
3. Is there a break?
Yes, there is a 1.5hr break between the completion of the 1st show and before the 2nd show commences (detailed on the Show Run Times). Please note, there is no break between each individual class item/performance. Each class will demonstrate their item in succession to make up a full 1 hour show.
4. Is their food provided for my child?
We will have a food truck onsite to purchase food and refreshments, so families can relax and enjoy the event atmosphere between shows. Please note: We recommend packing snacks for your dancer seperate to this so they can easily eat between their shows without losing time lining up.
5. Can I take photos or videos?
Yes! You can certainly take some photos and videos, however all shows will be professionally photographed and filmed. We share all this incredible content with you after the event. We encourage you to sit back and enjoy watching your dancer, while we capture high-quality photo and video memories for you. If you do choose to film, please ensure you are only filming your own child.
6. How do I know when my dancer is performing?
We have uploaded a run sheet (a show breakdown) on our Mid Year Showcase website page under Classes Performing for each respective show. You can see a full list of who is performing and in what order.
7. Who looks after my child after I drop them to HUBPAC and in between performances?
We will have plenty of HUBPAC Staff and Coaches who will be supervising and ushering students for the duration of the event, which includes in between their dances and breaks.
8. What does my dancer wear?
All dancers are to wear HUBPAC uniform. HUBPAC Ballet uniform for Ballet demonstrations and HUBPAC dancewear/merch uniform (eg. shorts and a crop top or pants and a t-shirt/hoodie) for everything else. If your child does not yet have their HUBPAC uniform they can wear plain black dancewear. You can order your HUBPAC uniforms online here.
